If you are in crisis

If you are looking for a lawyer

A number of US firms now take cases involving harm caused by AI systems — chatbots, automated decisions, generated images and impersonation among them. Consultations in this area are normally free.

Your state bar association runs a referral service, which is the safest place to start. Searching for the type of harm along with your state will also show firms working in this area.
